PlayStation Plus Premium is the top tier of the subscription service's offered programs, and with that higher price tag comes a large library of several hundreds of games available to play. Each month, the selection can change slightly as Sony adds and removes titles to keep things fresh, but there are always a plethora of games for subscribers. The Premium tier includes many of the older games from PlayStation's history, with access to the special Classics Catalog of PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP games.
Anyone who is a subscriber of PS Plus Premium will also have access to everything on the other two tiers, including the entire library of games on PS Plus Extra and Essential. Note that users in some regions may see PS Plus Deluxe listed instead of Premium. This happens if the area does not have PS3 game streaming. Otherwise, Deluxe is essentially the same as Premium but without being able to stream PS3 titles, and at a slightly cheaper price point.
If someone is looking for a new game to experience on PS Plus Premium, the following list includes some of the highest rated and memorable games available on the service. Because the focus of this list is specifically on Premium offerings, it is made up of games not available on PS Plus Extra or Essential tiers at this time.
Games frequently come and go from the subscription service. These entries are available as of February 12, 2025.

With its recent GOG release, Dino Crisis is now available on modern PCs - but is it still worth playing in 2025? These are the pros and cons.

9 LocoRoco 2 Remastered Is A Uniquely Fun Experience
Platforming Puzzle Game For The PSP And Remastered On PS4
It can be hard to describe a series like LocoRoco, as it is more something that just needs to be experienced. Although the original is also available on PS Plus Premium, the sequel is generally regarded as the better experience. LocoRoco 2 takes players on an imaginative adventure with bright graphics and gameplay mechanics that are easy to learn but difficult to master. The beloved game was originally developed for the PlayStation Portable and later remastered for the PS4. This remastered version is available in the PS Plus Classics Catalog.
LocoRoco also made a memorable, and possibly startling, level recently in Astro Bot. While the transition from normal Astro Bot game styles to the LocoRoco experience could have felt a bit jarring, it also served to remind many of the fun that is to be had in LocoRoco.

7 Jak 2 Has Its Own Place As One Of The Hardest Games On PS2
Action Adventure Platformer From The PS2
Among games in the infamous series of Jak and Daxter, this PS2 game was one of the highest rated, despite causing some frustrations. Jak 2 was published by Sony for the PS2 as another one of its exclusive franchises. The game is a combination of action, adventure, platformer, and third-person shooter genres, with players taking on the roles of both Jak and Daxter. It has a somewhat darker tone than other games in the series, with Jak having been captured and put through experiments that allow him to turn into a dark, beastly version of himself.
Much of the notoriety the game received is due to Jak 2 being known as the most difficult game to have been released on the PS2.
Not only is this an incredible classic title for PS Plus Premium subscribers to try out, but it could also be presented as a bit of a challenge. Much of the notoriety the game received is due to Jak 2 being known as the most difficult game to have been released on the PS2, or at least among the most difficult.
